Participation Agreement (Canada)
An agreement negotiated between a company and local Aboriginal organisations in the context of natural resource development projects. It may set out the principles to guide the working relationship of the parties, and establish the obligations of the parties regarding employment, training and business opportunities. It is otherwise be known as an Impact and Benefits Agreement.
