Summary Information:
The Olympia Resources Limited / Central Land Council (CLC) Indigenous Land Use Agreement (ILUA) is within the area of the Alice Springs native title determination which found that the Mbantuarinya/Arrente People hold native title rights and interests in the area. Under the ILUA the CLC has agreed (on behalf of the native title holders) to the granting of tenements to Olympia Resources Ltd. The CLC agreed to all mining and exploration activities allowable under Exploration Licences (ELs) and Mineral Leases (MLs) to be carried out, for some previously granted ELs and one ML and for some applications for ELs and one ML (which were to be granted following execution of the ILUA). The ILUA allows for the 'extension, replacement, substitution or renewal' of any of the tenements.

The CLC has also agreed to allow Olympia Resources to carry out 'related' activities that are within the exercise of powers granted to them under the tenements. These include:
- steps 'to minimise the environmental impact of exploration and mining and to promote the rehabilitation of any part of the Area which has been subjected to exploration and mining';
- 'the protection of any Native Title rights and interests including the protection of sacred sites';
- the manner in which native title rights and interests will be exercised by the native title holders; and
- arrangements for compensation.
