The Wudinna District Council comprises the twonships of Minnipa, Yaninee, Kyancutta and Warramboo. The local agriculture industry predominantly involves the farming of grain, sheep and beef cattle. The smaller industries of tourism and grainte mining are growing steadily. The council area is just under 6000 square kilometres and has a population of approximately 1500 people.
