Summary Information:
Mutawintji Local Aboriginal Land Council (MLALC) was established in order to provide a mechanism for the procuring of vacant Crown Lands and for their management. It also aims to create a self-sufficient community through enterprise. MLALC represents the traditional Aboriginal owners of Mutawintji National Park and Mutawintji Nature Reserve, which was the first national park to be returned to Aboriginal ownership in New South Wales in 1998.

MLALC also provides guided tours and activities to visitors to Mutawintji National Park. MLALC provides employment and training opportunities for the broader community, as well as advice and direction to the Mutawintji National Park Board of Management.
