According to its Rules, the objects of the Burungu Aboriginal Corporation include to hold title to land in the region, and to maximize the involvement of Burungu people in mining, tourism, national parks, land tenure changes and any other relevant issues. Membership of the Corporation is open to all adult Aboriginal people who are descendants of the original traditional owners of the area.
