The Manbarra Nanggarra Wanggarra Aboriginal Corporation was established by Manbarra traditional owners in 2002 under the Aboriginal Councils and Associations Act 1976. This Aboriginal corporation is the peak organisation for cultural heritage management on Palm Island.
