    Summary Information:
    The Central Queensland Land Council Aboriginal Corporation (CQLCAC) is a Native Title Representative Body. It represents Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in a region which includes the towns of Tully, Cardwell, Ingham, Charters Towers, Hughenden, Richmond, Townsville, Ayr/Home Hill, Bowen, Mackay, Sarina, Collinsville, Glenden and Mt Coolon (CQLCAC c2007).

    From 1 July 2008 the CQLCAC area will instead be represented by the North Queensland Land Council. This is part of a restructuring of NTRBs in Queensland, following a review by the federal government (NNTT 2008: 5; Brough 2007). Deregistered on 23/07/2012.
