The Queensland Indigenous Working Group (QIWG) is an unincorporated association of Representative Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Bodies of Queensland.
In August 1999 the Queensland Government and the QIWG committed to a consultation protocol on major policy and legislative issues which affect Aboriginal people and Torres Strait Islanders. The issues to be consulted on include native title, land management, resources and cultural heritage.
