Summary Information:
The City of Greater Dandenong is located in Melbourne's eastern suburbs at the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges. It was formed as a result of local government amalgamations under the local government reforms of 1994. The area was originally the territory of the Wurundjeri and Boonerwrung (Bunurong) tribes.
