The Centre for Appropriate Technology (CAT) is Australia’s national Indigenous science and technology organisation. Since 1980, it has been working to increase the access of Indigenous people to a range of services that enable them to live safely and happily in communities, often in remote locations.
Appropriate technology is a key factor in people achieving sustainable livelihoods, and CAT offer researched information and knowledge on the role of technology in improving conditions and prospects for people in remote communities. |
