The Irrwanyere Aboriginal Corporation was formed in 1989 specifically to represent the interests of traditional owners of Witjira in their negotiations with the South Australian Government. Irrwanyere members are Aboriginal People who are traditional owners by birth or who reside in the country, together with those whose forebears were traditional owners and their descendants. | |
