| Enertrade is the name of the Queensland Power Trading Corporation ABN 39 262 390 374, originally established due to the restructuring of the Queensland electricity industry. It is a wholesale energy provider owned by the Queensland State Government.
The company owns and operates the North Queensland Gas Pipeline (NQGP) and a gas-fired powerstation at Barcaldine. The company is planning to expand its gas pipeline project with the construction of the Central Queensland Gas Pipeline (CQGP).
Enertrade's website states that the corporation's mission is to: 'create value for its shareholder, the Queensland Government, and the people of Queensland'.
Enertrade is a party to six Indigenous Land Use Agreements formed in relation to the NQGP and CQGP. |
