	The ILUA area consists of all the land and water within Exploration Licence 4503. This EL is located approximately three kilometres west of Malmsbury, and falls within the Hepburn Shire Council and the Tumbukka Regional Council.

Summary Information:
The Victorian Exploration Licence 4503 Indigenous Land Use Agreement (ILUA) was made to facilitate the grant of Exploration Licence (EL) 4503 by the Victorian Government. Under the ILUA, the Dja Dja Wurrung Native Title Group consents to the granting of the EL to Bastiaan Van Riel and Yfke E Van Riel, and to the use of that EL. The ILUA operates for the duration of the EL unless terminated by written agreement of the parties. The parties agree that the right to negotiate provisions of the Native Title Act 1993 (Cth) do not apply, as the alternative consultation provisions are to be followed instead. Without this agreement, the grant would have been invalid and the right to negotiate provisions of the Native Title Act 1993 (Cth) would apply. Under this act any activity, such as a grant of land, that may affect native title rights is defined as a 'future act' and must comply with the future act provisions of the act in order to be valid.
