Summary Information:
Minjilang is an Aboriginal island community located 230 kms north east of Darwin in west Arnhemland. The Minjilang Council was assisted by the Barrah Community Development Employment Project in providing community services. It was, however, absorbed by the West Arnhem Shire in 2008 as part of the large scale amalgamation process in the Northern Territory.
