Summary Information:
The Ladders to Success initiative is designed to improve the transition of young Indigenous People into work. Ladders to Success is a Structured Training and Employment Project (STEP) that supports young people, their families, their education/training institution and employers to ensure that the transition into the workforce is a success. Mentoring support, pre-employment training and on-the-job training are provided through the initiative. The project involves 100 placements and 80 local employers and has resulted in 65 permanent job placements.
