The Cattle Council of Australia was established in July 1979. It brings together in a single organisation, all the farmer organisations whose members have beef cattle enterprises. The Council's objective is to represent and promote the interests of Australian beef cattle producers. This is achieved through wide and regular consultation with, and policy advice to, key industry organisations, relevant Federal Government Departments and other bodies.
