The Mulan 'Renovate the Cultural Centre' Shared Responsibility Agreement (SRA), the second SRA signed in Mulan following the 2003 COAG trial, provides a women's centre for the Mulan Aboriginal Community.
Shared Responsibility Agreements are agreements between governments and Indigenous communities to provide discretionary funding in return for community obligations. The new arrangements developed from an initiative of the Council of Australian Governments and replace the previous ATSIC system of funding. Purpose
The current cultural centre will be renovated to create a women's centre that promotes women's culture in Mulan.
Shared Responsibilities
The Commonwealth Government contribution to this SRA is $6000. | |
