    The Mulan 'Healthy Activities for Young People' Shared Responsibility Agreement (SRA) promotes healthy activities for young people by providing sporting equiptment. Shared Responsibility Agreements are agreements between governments and Indigenous communities to provide discretionary funding in return for community obligations. The new arrangements developed from an initiative of the Council of Australian Governments and replace the previous ATSIC system of funding.     Detailed Information:
    Purpose The Mulan community is part of the East Kimberley Council of Australian Governments (COAG) trial. This is its first SRA. The agreement is aimed at providing healthy activities for young people through the provision of sports equipment. Shared Responsibilities Under the SRA, the Commonwealth Government will provide $3000 for new sporting equipment.
