| Dr Patricia Davis Hurst AM is a highly respected Aboriginal elder from the Taree area. She is a cultural teacher, journalist, historian, author, publisher and Aboriginal activist.
In 1980 she founded the Gillawarra Aboriginal medical centre, and set up the Worinai Aboriginal Corporation to help disadvantaged Aboriginal children in 1983. |
