SunWater is a bulk water infrastructure developer and manager and is a statutory Queensland Government-owned corporation.SunWater provides direct water services to customers who include irrigators, mines and local governments. SunWater is a partner in building the Burdekin to Moranbah Water Pipeline. As at 21 April 2006, their water storage and distribution infrastructure included: - 26 major dams;
- 81 weirs and barrages;
- 72 major pumping stations; and 2500 kilometres of pipelines and open channels.
