Areyonga is a remote Aboriginal community located 220 kilometres west of Alice Springs. It has a population of approximately 215.
Summary Information:
Areyonga Council administered local government type functions for the Areyonga community. However, it was absorbed by the MacDonnell Shire Council on 1st July 2008 as a result of the large scale amalgamation process in the Northern Territory.
