Summary Information:
Baw Baw Shire is located in the State of Victoria, approximately one hour from Melbourne. The Shire has approximately 38,000 residents and covers over 4000 square kilometres. Baw Baw Shire Council was formed on 2 December 1994 from the former Shires of Buln Buln and Narracan, the Rural City of Warragul and part of the Shire of Yarra Ranges.
