Summary Information:
The Joint Planning Group (JPG) provides advice to governments and other bodies regarding housing and infrastructure for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders in mainland Queensland. It was formed through the Agreement for the Provision and Management of Housing and Infrastructure for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People in Queensland, which was signed in February 2001. The JPG aims to ensure the efficient provision of housing and infrastructure to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. It has developed a Strategic Plan for this purpose.
