The mission of the Juluwarlu Aboriginal Corporation 'is to collect, record, catalogue, archive, preserve, re-produce, exhibit and braodcast the culture and history of the Yindjibarndi peoples …; to provide the resources to drive and nurture cultural and economic futures; and to share with the braoder community.' Its projects have included developing a locally broadcast television station (JTV Channel 34), a traineeship program and the Murru Warru media centre. Another JAC project involves developing a large electronic archive of images, audio and film material (Mirnuwarni Ganyjagayi). |
