1130 hectares of land at Framlingham Forest was granted to the the Kirrae Whurrong Aboriginal Corporation under the Aboriginal Land (Lake Condah and Framlingham Forest) Act 1987 (Cth), passed by the Commonwealth Government at the request of the Victorian Government. The Act provides for full management, control and enjoyment by the Kirrae Whurrong Aboriginal Corporation of the land granted to it.
