  • Dann on behalf of the Wajarri Yamatji People (Part D) v State of Western Australia [2021] FCA 867; and
  • Hamlett on behalf of the Wajarri Yamatji People (Part E) v State of Western Australia [2021] FCA 868.
Detailed Information:

Formerly named, the Wajarri Yamatji Aboriginal Corporation which was incorporated in 2003 pursuant to the Aboriginal Councils and Associations Act 1976 (Cth). The objects for which the Corporation was established include the maintenance, promotion and protection of the Wajarri culture, language, native title, traditions and customs. This includes holding title or other interests in the Corporation's property for the benefits of the Corporation's members (ORAC, 2003).
