| Arts Queensland is part of the Queensland Department of Education, Training and the Arts, and, according to their website, their purpose is to 'develop and implement cultural policy and administer cultural funding and capital works programs that support arts and cultural development for the benefit of the community'. They do this through partnerships with the arts and cultural sector, and through administering arts funding.
