| The Executive Director of Township Leasing is a statutory officer created under pt IIA of the Aboriginal Land Rights (Northern Territory) Act 1976 (Cth).
The functions of the Executive Director include entering into, on behalf of the Commonwealth, 99-year leases under s 19A of the Act; administering those leases; and administering any sub-leases granted under those leases: see s 20C. |
