Summary Information:
The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder is the local government entity for an city of just over 30,000 people in the Western Australian goldfields (City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder c2005). The Council includes a Reconciliation Committee, established on 22 June 2000. Its role is to develop policy and stategic plans relating to Indigenous issues, to work with various actors in order to develop a strategic approach to meeting the needs of Indigenous people and to periodically review its constitution (City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder 2007).
