| Iluka Resources Ltd is a resources company listed on the Australian Stock Exchange. According to its website (2007), Iluka Resources 'is a major participant in the global mineral sands sector and [is] involved in the sales and marketing of titanium based products ... and zircon.'
As at 2007 the company's projects included proposed mines at Jacinth, Ambrosia and Tripitaka, in the Eucla Basin in South Australia. The company is party to the Agreement between the Far West Coast Native Title Group and Iluka Resources.
The company was known as Westralian Oil Ltd (1954-1968), and Westralian Sands Ltd (1968-1999), before adopting its current name in 1999.
