| The Bond Exchange of South Africa (‘BESA’) is a licensed securities exchange which operates as a regulator in the local bond and interest rate derivatives market. In addition, BESA seeks to ‘develop markets and facilitate trade in fixed income securities by providing innovative products and low-cost technology platforms for issuers, market makers, traders and investors.’
BESA is a signatory to the Financial Sector Charter on Black Economic Empowerment.
