Detailed Information:
The Act contains numerous provisions regarding: - the licensing of weapons; - the storage of weapons; and - permission for hunting on private properties. Section 11 of the Queensland Weapons Act 1990 prescribes the following reasons for possessing a weapon: - Sport or target shooting; - recreational shooting; - occupational requirements; - another reason prescribed under a regulation.
