| The Cape Byron State Recreation Area Trust is a Trust established under the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1974. The Trust has a membership of Indigenous land owners, wider community and government representatives. The Trust is concerned with the management, restoration and promotion of the Cape Byron Reserve's cultural heritage, and the sensitive development of diverse recreation opportunities, through the preservation and regeneration of the Reserve's unique plant and animal communities. It has established essential infrastructure, an effective management framework and an experienced and skilled staff. |
