Dare to Lead for Business is a national strategy that seeks to address the discrepancy in education and employment outcomes between Indigenous and other Australians. It does so by developing reconciliation-oriented workplace strategies that enable Indigenous people to participate in the economy on an equal basis.
Dare to Lead for Business operates under the auspice of Principals Australia, a not-for-profit organisation that seeks to develop effective, inspirational and sustainable leadership in schools. It is supported by the Commonwealth government through the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR). Its strategy is based on the Dare to Lead project, which focuses on improving leadership in schools and achieving better outcomes for Indigenous students. A website link for the Dare to Lead project has been provided below.
Dare to Lead for Business is a signatory to the Many Rivers Regional Partnership Agreement (RPA), which was signed on 25 August 2009. | |
