Detailed Information:
Details of the agreement The agreement was entered between the parties so as to permit the continued use of the Infrastructure on the Land and allow access by any person for the purposes of a - parking bay, - loading ramp and - helicopter pad, - including modifications, maintenance, repairs or upgrades. Commencement The agreement commences on the first day all parties have executed the agreement and shall be in perpetuity for as long as the Infrastructure is required by the Northern Territory. Native Title Provisions The native title determination for the Gurungu/Kulumintini people was recognised on the 31/07/2009 for the areas within and around the Town of Elliott. The determination of Wilson v Northern Territory of Australia [2009] FCA 800 recognised exclusive and non-exclusive native title rights over various allotments in and around the town of Elliott. The native title claim group was comprised of fifteen Mudburra or Jingili or mixed Mudburra/Jingili estate groups. The primary estate group, hoever, is the Elliott estate group (Gurungu/Kulumintini). All fifteen groups are recognised as having exclusive and non-exclusive native title rights and interests within the claim area.
