Signatory to the Juru People and Adani Abbot Point Terminal Indigenous Land Use Agreement (ILUA). The Adani Group commenced operations in Australia in 2010 with the purchase of coal tenements for the proposed Carmichael Mine in the Galilee Basin, Central Queensland, and a 99 year lease of the coal terminal at the Port of Abbot Point near Bowen in North Queensland.
