Under Section 118 of the GOC Act, the corporation was to act as if it were a statutory body within the meaning given in the Financial Accountability Act 2009. BPH’s status as a Government Owned Corporation was formally revoked on 14 December 2010 following the completion of the sale of the business of the Port of Brisbane by way of a 99 year lease. Ownership of BPH was transferred from the shareholding Ministers to Queensland Treasury Holdings Pty Ltd (QTH) on 5 April 2011. |
