The Project Agreement for the Delivery of Renal Services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People in the Central Region of the Northern Territory ('the Agreement') between the Commonwealth of Australia and the Northern Territory of Australia provides for the delivery of renal services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the central region of the Northern Territory.
Detailed Information:
Outputs The outputs of the Agreement will be the delivery of renal services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the central region of the Northern Territory by delivering; renal health services and maintenance for any increased clinical and management services; nurse assisted renal health services, that will also include services provided six days per week, at selected Communities; the aim of early detection and reduction of the incidence of renal disease though health education and health promotion activities; transportation for “Return to Country” and “Going Home” travel for WDNWPT Aboriginal Corporation renal patients; Governance support for the WDNWPT Aboriginal Corporation committee; and improved training and employment opportunities. Roles and Responsibilities The Commonwealth will monitor and assess milestones regarding the delivery of services and ensure outputs a within agreed timeframes. They will responsible for providing and consequential finances. The Northern Territory’s responsibilities will include on-forwarding the Commonwealths funding contribution coordinating with the Commonwealth and the WDNWPT Aboriginal Corporation, the execution of the Agreement. 
 The Western Desert Nganampa Walytja Palyantjaku Tijutaku Aboriginal Corporation responsibilities include ensuring completion of the Project in a timely and professional manner in accordance ensuring all conditions including the provision of reports, are met and provided to the Commonwealth through the Northern Territory in a timely manner.
