The Wulli Wulli People/Wondekai Indigenous Land Use Agreement ('ILUA') was agreed under the provisions of the Native Title Act 1993 (Cth) between the Wulli Wulli People and the Wondekai. The agreement area is about 24 sq km, located approximately 34 km south of Theodore. The local government area is the Banana Shire Council. The purpose of the ILUA is to provide consent for a range of acts, whether or not they are 'Future Acts', regarding the access to and use of the land subject to pastoral leases. The agreement area is located within the external boundary of the Wulli Wulli People native title claim. The Wulli Wulli Claim was filed on 17 July 2000. It covers an area of approximately 5,432 square kilometres and includes the towns of Theodore and Cracow, pastoral properties, Precipice & Isla Gorge National Parks, state forests and sections of the Dawson River.
