The Aboriginal Councils and Associations Act 1976 (Cth) ('ACA Act') established the Office of the Registrar of Aboriginal Corporations (ORAC) and set the framework for some Indigenous Corporations. The laws regarding incorporation under the ACA Act were designed to meet the needs of Indigenous organisations.
The ACA Act has been replaced by the Corporations (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander) Act 2006 (Cth). |
