Commencement: The ILUA commences on the date it was executed, subject to clause 3. The Extract does not specify a start or end date for the ILUA. Native Title Provisions: the extinguishment of native title: took effect immediately, before the grant of any freehold title over the ILUA area to Scott William Wilkie. The parties agree that the surrender is intended to extinguish any native title in relation to the ILUA Area. right to negotiate: the parties agree that the right to negotiate provisions of the Native Title Act (1993) (Cth) do not apply to the surrender.
