The Indjalandji-Dhidhanu People's native title rights and interests were recognised by consent in the Federal Court of Australia proceeding Saltmere on behalf of the Indjalandji-Dhidhanu People v State of Queensland [2012] FCA 1423. The native title holders, per Schedlule 3 of the determination, are comprised of people descended from the Indjalandji-Dhidhanu ancestors: - Idaya and his son Dijeru;
- Kaduka (also known as Annie) and her son Frank Monkhouse; or
- Georgina Jackson and her spouse Burketown Willy and their son Tom Fraser; or
- recruited by adoption in accordance with the traditional laws and customs of the Indjalandji-Dhidhanu people.
