The Hindmarsh Island Bridge Act 1997 (Cth) (the Act) was made to to facilitate the construction of the Hindmarsh Island bridge. It restricts the operation of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Heritage Protection Act 1984 (Cth) in relation to the construction of the Hindmarsh Island bridge and related activities.
