Yolngu Traditional Owners are Aboriginal Traditional Owners, in particular those members of clans with an interest in the area of land covered by the Dhimurru Indigenous Protected Area (IPA). The clans that have special responsibility for the IPA land, either as Traditional Aboriginal Owners or as groups with acknowledged interests and management responsibilities are listed in the Dhimurru Section 73 Agreement as the following: Bararrngu, Datiwuy, Dhalwangu, Dhapuyngu, Dhudi-Djapu, Djambarrpuyngu, Djapu, Galpu, Golpa, Golumala, Gumatj, Lamami, Madarrpa, Manggalili, Marrakulu, Marrangu, Munyuku, Ngaymil, Rirratjingu, Wangurri, and Warramiri. |
