The native title rights of the Gulngay People was recognised in Kinjun on behalf of the Gulngay People and State of Queensland [2019] FCA 446. As described in Schedule 1 of that determination, the Gulngay People are the descendants of Joe Kinjun (Ginydjubayil), also known as Kinjufile.
