Summary Information:
The Darebin Aboriginal Reconciliation Working Party was formally established by the Darebin City Council in 1997. The establishment of the Committee followed the completion of a consultancy report on Aboriginal sites of significance and the living Aboriginal culture in the City of Darebin.

The Working Party is made up of local Indigenous and non Indigenous people. Since 1998 more than 20 people have been involved in the Working Party, often for many years at a time. At any one time, the Working Party is made up of around six to eight people.
