The Queensland Department of the Premier and Cabinet is made up of the Premier of Queensland; the Director General; the Deputy Director General - Policy Division; the Deputy Director General - Community Engagement Division; the Deputy Director General - Governance Division; the Parliamentary secretaries to the Premier; and a number of Portfolio Agencies.
The Department provides policy advice to the Premier and Cabinet on social, economic, law and justice issues for Queensland and coordinates policies consistent with the Government's priorities and commitments. The Department is also the lead agency for coordinating the Queensland Crime Prevention Strategy. |
