Bega Valley Shire is located on the south-eastern coastline of New South Wales (NSW). It extends from Bermagui to the Victorian border. The Shire is the largest local government area in coastal NSW covering an area of 6,052 square kilometres. It also has the longest coastline of any council in NSW.
