| The agreement area covers the extent of the Suplejack Perpetual Pastoral Lease (PPL1108), located approximately 450 kms west of Tennant Creek and covering an area of approximately 3,835 sq kms. Tanami (NTP4198) and Suplejack (NTP1740) land parcels surround the area. |

The Suplejack Indigenous Land Use Agreement (the ILUA) provides the consent of the native title holders of the area, represented by the Central Land Council, to the grant of exploration and mining tenements located within the Suplejack pastoral lease in the central west of the Northern Territory. This includes consent to the development of water resources for treatment of ore to be mined, the construction of a pipeline and all matters relating to the exploration and mining carried out in accordance with the tenements granted. The agreement also contains provisions to 'minimise the environmental impact of mining and exploration' and to 'promote the rehabilitation' of areas affected by exploration and mining. |
