| NCM is based in Port Hedland, and its Board consists of six members, two from each partner. NCM provides employment opportunities that suit people with a variety of needs. Current and potential projects include: - A contract to maintain houses around Port Hedland; - Possibility of ore handling at the port; - Development (and possible operation) of Austco camp for an oil and gas construction company at Karratha, and - Mine site maintenance work. Local Indigenous people are predominantly employed. While some are skilled workers, others are able to join and become more skilled. | ||
